Started in 2000, as a private investment(see HISTORY ...), Eutopia Park was later made available to the Eutopia Gardens Foundation, for the gradual transformation into a cultural and educational space. We estimate that the inauguration of the park will be possible in 2025 (find out the PLANS ...).
The name of the park comes from the Greek, meaning beautiful place (eu ~ beautiful, topos ~ place). The reason for choosing this name is the location of the park, near the locality of Mândruloc (mândru in Transylvanian language means beautiful). In fact, the place, bordered on the west by the Ghioroc hills and on the south by the Vladimirescu forests and the Mureş river, had the same name during the Austro-Hungarian Empire, then called Schoendorf. The name was later extended to designate the Foundation and the entire set of Programs.
The structure of the park includes two large areas: one for plant collections and another for theme gardens.
Anyone passing through the area is welcome in a stop for relaxation and unwinding.
