Location: the back of the park
Area: ~2 ha

The park is bordered by a protection dam, 2.5m high, of river Mures. The microclimate here is favorable for a vegetable garden and an orchard.

The orchard was created in 2008 and contains about 300 varieties of fruit trees and shrubs. Fruits are already abundant. We vreate also an small-animal farm - a home to several breeds of birds (chickens, ducks, guinea fowl), and Vietnamese pigs. Depending on the curiosity of children, who are the main beneficiaries of the area, other annimals can be added. Beehives would find her a place. In the next years we will arrange the produce a variety of vegetables, herbs and aromatic plants.

The place is ideal for carrying out practical lessons gardening. There will be two categories of beneficiaries: students of various schools in Arad and mature people who want to train for new occupations.

For students, practical courses can focus on curriculum, but there may be additional courses for enthusiasts. Students could witness the miracle of seed germination and plant growth. It could get small horticultural skills, learn how to propagate the plants, observetheir growing needs, learn how to maintain a garden and more. Children will have supervised access to vegetable garden and orchard to perform practical work, but will also have a land of their own where they can experience. Here children can get many other practical skills, after the Norwegian model "living school".

We are also interested in offering optimal conditions for people with disabilities.
