June 8, 2019

Although May and the beginning of June 2019 were particularly humid, with daily rains, on June 7 and 8 it did not rain at all, and the temperature rose above 35 ° C. But the flowers were fresh, more beautiful than ever.

The visitors, those who were not afraid of the heat wave, attended the artistic program organized by CCJArad: concerts by Arthur Horeanu, Lorena Galea and folk groups Sânzienele and Fanfara Buteni.

The children participated in lucrative workshops organized by the Call of Nature Association and enjoyed the presence of ponies from Zooland.

Most rose lovers preferred to come to the park in the afternoon, when the temperature was more bearable. On Sunday, the park was filled even more with visitors and enthusiastic exclamations at the sight of the abundance and diversity of flowers.

June 2, 2018

This year we started the collaboration with the Cultural Center - Arad County, with whose support weI were able to offer an artistic program with local protagonists. An appearance that impressed everyone was Arthur. We were also able to appreciate the joy and pleasure of singing of the children from the Children`s Palace, class coordinated by Mrs. Laura Roșu, an involved person, devoted to her mission as a trainer. Other points in the program were: recital of traditional Arad song (Popular Arts School), instrumental music (Sabin Drăgoi College of Arts), s.a.

Thanks to the creative workshops, the children were involved in various lucrative activities. Participants: Artarad (Ciumpe Loredana). In addition to the floral-themed creations, decorative paintings, mosaic glasses, pots decorated with the decoupage technique and other decorative objects were made. The Call of Nature Association (Postolache Loredana) came up with two creative workshops: "The Hemp Fairy" (the little ones made their own dolls in folk costume, listening to meaningful stories); "Paper roses", a craft workshop in which parents could also participate.

June 4, 2016

The organization of the 2016 edition of the Rose Festival was fully assumed by the Arad County Cultural Center. It was the Foundation's first collaboration with a public institution. Unfortunately, our goal: the development of the event in size, diversity, duration - was not achieved in this edition. However, the experience was valuable, in order to improve the way we work in the future.

The Program of the 9th edition >> was quite brief. The day was saved by the String Quartet of the Sabin Drăgoi˝ College of Arts, whose sounds harmoniously filled the space, enchanting everyone.

April 22, 2016

During the period called the Otherwise School, the garden was visited by students of the Gymnasium School from Păuliș.  As the children felt wonderful, showed interest and curiosity for plants and processes produced in nature, we decided that a long-term collaboration would be of interest, so that students can regularly participate in various practical activities.

April 19, 2016

An activity organized by the General School no. 5 from Arad, in which the children from the primary classes benefited from a photography lesson taught outdoors, in the garden setting.

We are waiting for others!

November 13, 2015

Today we initiate the first action in which students from the primary cycle participate (General School no. 5 and also the General School “Aron Cotrus” from Arad), together with teachers, parents and grandparents. Instructors: three elite florists from Arad and a student from the Faculty of Horticulture from Sapientia Hungarian University of Transilvania.

The purpose is to inform children about herbaceous flowering plants and to notice their peculiarities compared to woody plants. The children also learned the differences between the categories of herbaceous plants: depending on their lifespan (annual, biennial, perennial) and survival (fibrous, juicy, bulbous roots). Under the guidance of the instructors, pansies (biennial plants) and tulip bulbs (bulbous perennials) were planted, and next spring they will harvest flowers and offer bouquets of tulips to teachers and parents.

The planting material was provided by the companies Erma SRL and Expert Group SRL.

July 2, 2014

Students and seniors from Timisoara came to help us with the maintenance of Eutopia Park. If the "Rose Celebration", from the beginning of June, was the moment when we enjoyed the beauty and fragrance of the roses, this day, from the beginning of July, is one in which we take care of the maintenance of the bushes, the pruning of the inflorescences with dried flowers. After pruning, rose bushes develop new shoots, which in 30-40 days will be filled with flowers.

The proposal for the volunteer action started from students and seniors from Timişoara. On July 2, at 8 o'clock in the morning, they arrived in Eutopia Park, equipped with scissors and gloves, full of good cheer and put to work.

June 7, 2014

Predominantly artistic event, due to the exhibitions and the parade, provided by the newest members of the group, who joined from Cluj-Napoca.

Participants: students from the Economic College `Francesco Saverio Nitti`, the National Pedagogical College `Carmen Sylva` and the National College `C. D. Loga` from Timișoara;

June 20, 2013

A group visit, at the request of the Jewish Community of Timisoara, the Day Center for the Elderly. We enjoyed a walk in the park together, but also very interesting discussions. We found that the visitors are of a special human and intellectual quality. I had to answer questions, to hear and understand opinions, suggestions, proposals - from some active people, with pragmatic but also social thinking. A rather rare pleasure ... category: events.

June 1, 2013

June 1, 2013 is a double celebration this year in the Eutopia Rosary: we celebrate children and flowers! The artistic program includes: musical moments, poetry, sports and social dances, workshops.

The artistic program was supported by students from Carmen Sylva Pedagogical High School, Jean Louis Calderon High School, Azur Technical College and Banat National College - from Timisoara, Children's Club from Jimbolia

The workshops were presented by students and professors from the Faculty of Horticulture USAMV Cluj-Napoca. Through a practical lesson, the Arad horticulturist Ioan Szatmari, showed to those interested how the propagation of roses is done by grafting, during the vegetation period.

June 2, 2012

With all the political turmoil around it, the financial constraints, the extreme cold of winter, Eutopia Gardens awaited its guests decorated in bright colors, shrouded in the scent of thousands of roses. In this time of crisis of all kinds, the Rose Celebration in 2012 reminds us that happiness is about simple things, the gifts that
nature miraculously offers them to us.

The artistic program was supported by the Merlin Theater Troupe, students from Jean Louis Calderon High School, Francesco Saverio Nitti- Economic College from Timișoara, Jimbolia Technological High School and the Association of Seniors from Timișoara.

June 4, 2011

Programul ediției a II-a >>

June 18, 2005
Arad, Romania

The General Assembly of the Romanian Rose Society  was organized for the first time in Arad, by the local branch, with the support of the Eutopia Gardens Foundation.

On this occasion, Mihaela Buzatu, president of the Eutopia Gardens Foundation, presented to the 50 participants (from 5 county branches) the EutopiaGardens.org website, which at that time included a database of ornamental plants, among which over 3000 varieties of roses.

At the end of the meeting, the participants went to Eutopia Park, near Mândruloc, to see the beginnings of the rosary arrangement.
