The bushes of these roses produce small flowers, grouped in large inflorescences. They are fantastic landscape roses, pot roses, specimen roses, cover roses. The bushes are covered in summer with flowers, as the tea-hybrid type rarely does.
The creation of the first polyantha bush dates back to 1873, being obtained in France, starting from the wild rose R. multipiflora. He later became one of the parents of the rose floribunda, created in the twentieth century. Polyantha rose bushes are usually smaller than floribunda, which can reach 120 cm.
